These Major Cities Closing Walmart Stores

As supermarket chains spread across the US, food businesses are closing in some regions. Multiple regional and national businesses have announced shop

closures since the year began, claiming financial underperformance. Again, grocery stores are closing.

One Walmart and Whole Foods outlet closed this week in two large cities. Look at the shops closing soon.

Walmart announced four more Chicago store closures two weeks after eliminating 15 U.S. shops.

"The simplest explanation is that collectively our Chicago stores have not been profitable since we opened the first one nearly 17 years ago,"

By Sunday, April 16, Walmart's four Chicago-area shops will close. One Supercenter in Chatham and three Neighborhood Market shops in Kenwood,

Lakeview, and Little Village are the sites. The pharmacies will stay open for 30 days, and staff can relocate to any Walmart or Sam's Club.
