Several restaurant businesses, including Subway, are offering bargains to offset rising food prices.

On August 24, Subway MyWay Rewards members will enjoy 50% off a footlong sandwich every day in September using daily digital coupons. Whoa! 10,000 passes were sold.

The bargain, which started at 8 a.m. yesterday, was supposed to last until Aug. 26 at 7:59 a.m. Eastern Time, but the passes sold out in six.

Subway's sandwiches range from $6 to $12, making this monthlong deal enticing to regulars.

Subway introduced the Subway Series menu as part of its Eat Fresh, Refresh campaign less than two months ago.

Subway's "biggest major menu overhaul in nearly 60 years" includes 12 new trademark sandwiches: Cheesesteaks, Italianos, Chicken, and Clubs.

Footlong Pass isn't the only fast-food subscription service this year. Panera launched its $8.99-per-month "Ultimate Sip Club" in April.

The $10.99 membership includes all 27 self-serve beverages.

Taco Bell released its first-ever "Taco Lover's Pass" in 2022, allowing consumers to redeem one of seven specialty tacos per day for 30 days.
