Miami Dolphins sign veteran quarterback
The Miami Dolphins added a familiar face to their practise squad while Tua Tagovailoa is in concussion protocol.
Reid Sinnett was joined to the practise squad Monday.
Sinnett signed with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in 2020. Soon after being released, he joined the Dolphins practise squad.
Sinnett was activated for two games but didn't participate.
He was on and off the roster in 2021, showing glimpses in the preseason, but was released in October.
The quarterback spent 2021 with the Philadelphia Eagles but didn't play. He got discharged in September and was free till recently.
Teddy Bridgewater will start until Tua returns. Skylar Thompson is also active. If either dies, Sinnett might be promoted soon.
If Tagovailoa returns soon, Sinnett's third tenure may be short.
