We exfoliate our faces but neglect our lips. Lip rejuvenation requires exfoliation. It exfoliates lips. Exfoliated lips apply lipstick and lip liner smoothly.
Use a homemade lip scrub weekly to exfoliate. Post-exfoliation lip balm hydrates. After blotting, add lip liner. Watch this lip exfoliation video.
2. Select Your Lip Liner Shade:
Lipliner should match lipstick. The lipstick base must be the same shade family for nude, red, and pink lipsticks. Choose a neutral shade if you're unsure.
3. Outline Your Cupid’s Bow:
To make thin lips bigger, line just over your natural lip line. Start with your top lip and follow the natural lip line to the outer corners.
4. Fill in the Lips:
Lining the lips is also crucial. This creates a basis for lipstick, preventing feathering and bleeding.
5. Blend the Liner:
Use a little brush or your fingertips to blend the lip liner's center edges. This spreads color. Avoid buffing the edge.
6. Apply Lipstick:
Apply your lip liner and favorite lipstick with a brush or straight if you're an expert. A brush lets you evenly apply lipstick and manage the amount.
7. Clean the Edges with Concealer:
After applying lipstick, wipe the lip margins for a beautiful pout. Concealer cleans edges and defines lines, especially with vivid colors.
If you screw up, use a makeup remover-soaked cotton swab to wipe up the lip line. Micellar water prevents lipstick from bleeding because it's non-oily.
