Chick-fil-A is Launching Major New Fall Breakfast Item

Chick-fil-A boasts a good lineup, from their Hash Brown Scramble Burrito to its classic Chicken Biscuit. Breakfast hasn't changed since 2017. So far.

Starting August 22, KFC will try Chorizo Cheddar Egg Bites for breakfast. The limited-time item will only be available in Augusta, Ga., Aiken, S.C., Columbus, Ohio,

Norfolk and Portsmouth, Va., Miami, Fla., and New Orleans, La., so fans should verify if their local shop is participating before visiting.

Four snack-sized Chorizo Cheddar Egg Bites are available. Egg Bites are produced daily using eggs, Mexican-style chorizo sausage, and cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses.

"As summer closes and back-to-school morning routines begin, we wanted to give our consumers a new protein-packed entrée," said Chick-fil-director A's of menu and packaging.

"Guests want bite-sized, sharing breakfast alternatives, so we're testing Chorizo Cheddar Egg Bites."

Seven cities will test the new breakfast dish before it goes countrywide.

While the morning menu hasn't changed much, Chick-fil-A has made several advances.

In June, the firm said a new Express lane may solve its drive-thru troubles.

The chain has installed new drive-thru equipment at over 60 outlets to improve efficiency.
