Arby's Added Two Major New Items to the Menu

Arby's is the meat chain. Arby's doesn't overlook seafood, or "ocean meat," on its summer menu.

Arby's is debuting Hushpuppy Breaded Fish Strips and a Cajun Fish Wrap, two new fish-based alternatives. Both are summer-only.

Premium Pollock is covered in cornmeal-based hushpuppy batter and fried golden brown.

You can order three or five pieces a la carte or as a meal with Crinkle Fries and a drink. Three Hushpuppy Strips cost $7.59, however pricing may vary.

Hushpuppy Breaded Fish Strips, lettuce, tomato, and Cajun remoulade in an artisan wrap. The wrap is available a la carte or with Curly Fries and a drink for $9.59.

The chain's fish sandwiches, especially the King's Hawaiian Fish Deluxe Sandwich and Spicy Fish Sandwich, have impressed customers and critics.

Arby's now offers "Denali-style" sandwiches, which include fried fish fillets. However, it's only accessible when the sandwich chain brings back its seasonal fish choice.

Seafood alternatives have long been available at fast food burger establishments....

but McDonald's was the first to introduce a fish sandwich in 1965 with the introduction of the Filet-O-Fish.
